About ASDF’s Teacher Innovation Grants
TIG PURPOSE
Since 2010, the Allentown School District Foundation has invited full-time ASD teachers, guidance counselors, coaches and nurses to submit proposals that enhance learning in the classroom and beyond. The goal of the Teacher Innovation Grants (TIG) Program is to increase student interest in learning by providing educators an opportunity to exercise their passion for creative solutions by applying unique educational strategies. TIG encourages the ASD faculty to develop ideas, partner with families and colleagues and tap into the wealth of knowledge, expertise and talent globally available in today’s world. A limited number of grants are available each year.
